The team
Built by people who lived both sides of the table, consultant and client, with the engineering depth to make a reasoning system that holds up under real stakes.
Enrique founded Lumière AI to make structured, consulting-grade decision support accessible to anyone who needs it, from individuals to SMEs, corporates and investment funds. He previously worked at Strategy& and PwC on growth strategy, commercial due diligence and national-level strategic initiatives for governments and private equity clients across Europe and the MENA region.
Before consulting, he served in the French Foreign Legion as a sniper team leader in an airborne parachute regiment, earning multiple honors. That mix of strategy work and military discipline shaped how Lumiu is built: rigorous problem structuring, clear assumptions, and recommendations that hold up under real-world constraints.
Evgeniya brings deep experience in strategic investments, M&A and infrastructure finance across ADNOC and XRG in the UAE, and earlier at EY and PwC. She also worked on the capital markets side in Moscow, which adds a strong public-markets lens to her investment work. Across these roles she handled large-scale transactions and complex financing decisions, managed the full advisor stack, and turned their inputs into clear investment calls.
A CFA charterholder with an MSc in Economics, her client-side lens is central to Lumiu. She knows what decision makers actually need, which questions change the outcome, and how to turn a messy situation into a structured recommendation that can be defended.
Lumiu's technical co-founder holds a PhD and was one of the leading engineers behind Falcon, one of the world's best open large language models (LLMs). Falcon 3 in particular is recognized for its reasoning quality and efficiency, competing with models many times its size. He has built multiple LLMs in industry and now leads Lumiu's AI and infrastructure; from the reasoning architecture, the multi-agent system, to the engineering that makes consulting-grade output reliable at scale.
He works alongside a small group of strong engineers across infrastructure and development.
Ismayil builds the full-stack and AI engineering behind Lumiu, turning the reasoning system into a product people can rely on. He has built AI workflows using Gemini, Vertex AI, embeddings, sentiment analysis and cloud storage, and has spent years as a tech lead and software architect delivering scalable platforms across healthcare, education and 3D spatial mapping.
Earlier he architected cloud platforms with NestJS, React, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ and Kubernetes, and as a mobile architect he developed the SDK and applications for SIMA, Azerbaijan's national e-signature platform. He studied Business and IT at Birmingham City University and Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
Some decisions keep you up at night
The ones where you are the person everyone is waiting on, where being wrong costs real money and real jobs, and where, if you are honest with yourself, you are not sure you have enough to go on. That feeling, carrying a call that matters and quietly hoping you have got it right, is something every leader knows and almost nobody admits.
When the moment comes, the help you can reach for has never quite fit. Bring in a firm like McKinsey and you wait months and pay a fortune, often for work done by people barely out of university, and by the time the deck lands the moment to act has half passed. So instead you turn to a generic AI tool like Claude or GPT, and in seconds you get something polished, but you read it with a knot in your stomach, because it never asks what it does not know, it never tells you when you are wrong, and if it walks you off a cliff there is nobody to answer for it…
Lumiu was built to be the one thing you can trust when the decision is yours to make, with a real person beside you when you need one. It works the way a strategist works, starting with what you are truly trying to decide, digging into the reality around it, taking a clear position on what moves the answer and pressure testing that position until it holds. You do not get a stack of pages to wade through, you get a direction, the reasoning underneath it and an honest read of the risks, the kind of answer you can stand up and defend in front of your board…and you are never alone with it, because our ex-MBB and ex-Big Four consultants review the work and put their name to it whenever you want that weight behind you, at a fraction of what the traditional firms charge.
Moreover, this is not something a competitor can copy in a hurry. Anyone can buy the same AI models we use, and anyone can build a nice interface on top of them. What they cannot put together quickly is the part that took us years, the consulting logic itself, thousands of reasoning steps and over a thousand proprietary frameworks drawn from how strategy is genuinely done, with real consultants standing behind every answer. A model on its own does not know how to think like a strategist, and we spent years building one system that does. That is the difference between something that sounds smart and something you can trust with your most important decisions.
